In fact, the intermodal transport combines road freight services, from warehouse to terminal and vice versa, with rail freight services for the international route, with clear advantages in terms of environmental sustainability, while guaranteeing the capillarity of the service.
We also offer weekly rail shipments to/from China with the possibility of continuation to Central Asian countries such as Mongolia and Kazakhstan. The main advantages of using rail freight transport for shipments to China are:
- Excellent ratio between transit/time and cost: transit times are in fact shorter than by sea and costs are much lower than by air.
- Reliability and safety: the containers can be equipped with GPS for total traceability and monitoring during the journey.
